About T3DDY
T3DDY’s researchers work side-by-side every day to engineer the surgical approach, proposing simulators useful for strategic planning and medical devices for pediatric patients.
History
T3DDY, a collaboration between Meyer Children’s Hospital and the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence, has the objective of introducing highly innovative 3D technologies into the hospital’s clinical practice.
Operational since 2016, T3DDY offers a multidisciplinary approach to the development of new solutions where research, design and training meet to offer innovative and personalized solutions based on the state-of-the-art in 3D printing and 3D CAD procedures.
Leadership
The Scientific Director of the Laboratory is Prof. Monica Carfagni, from the Department of Industrial Engineering.
The Management Committee is composed of three representatives for the Department:

- Ing. Francesca Uccheddu
and three representatives for Meyer Children’s Hospital:
